One unique feature of the Lina Zeineddine collection is the "gravity padding" in each pair of shoes.  "Gravity padding" is also known as "pregnancy padding" for women. They absorb the extra weight women carry during pregnancy and thereby reduce swelling of the feet. Additionally, the gravity padding provides every women that much-deserved extra support for comfort. You literally feel as though you are walking on air when you wear heels designed by Lina Zeineddine.

About the designer: Lina Zeineddine

Designer, Lina Zeineddine, was born in Lebanon, and at the age of 3, her parents moved to the United States.  Due to the civil war of 89', Lina's parents had hopes of pursuing a better education for their children in a new and well established country. Raised strong influences from her father, a European style barber, and her mother, the Queen of Culinary, Lina was born to inherit a talent for the arts. Growing up as a Lebanese woman in a country other than her own, she found it difficult to find whom she was. With two very clashing beliefs, cultures, and ways of living, she found herself in whirlwind of confusion in her self-expression.

During the height of her confusion at the age of 15, Lina and her father traveled back to her home country. Inspired by a runway show she had watched, followed by the comment, “To be a designer is to have limitless skill and success. You can create anything, be anything you want. Limitless,”  Lina felt the greatest sense of freedom, and decided to pursue her career in fashion and design.

With that vision in mind, she enrolled at the Art Institute of Seattle and began working for a local couture house, enjoying the experience of working with clients and excelling her knowledge of the body, fabrics, and expert detail.

This experience taught her that as humans, we fear and judge our own expressions and those of others, out of fear of being judged. She felt compelled to continue her journey of inspiring self-expression, and began freelancing after acquiring life-lasting bonds with loyal clients. With her vision, motivation, passion, and design skills, she set out to begin the journey in the creation of the LKZ Empire.

Inspired by perfection, supported by family, friends, mentors, and the trust of her ongoing clients, she has excelled in her work to fulfill the need for freedom of expression, and discovery of identity, for each individual through design. She has developed a true love for the independence that fashion provides to her and her clients.

Lina's belief that success and expression has no limits is portrayed in each personal interaction and every project achieved. Feeling confident in what we wear promotes the feeling of security, empowerment, and helps to realize our inner strengths and beauties.

You can be the brightest star in the sky, yet if you do not see it, do not express it, that star will soon wither away. Love yourself, love life, love those around you, express who you are, and what you stand for.

Boots, boots, boots - Which one do you like?

How cute are these boots?  The knitted strap ankle boots accent with the legwarmer are a must have for the new year.  I typically don't like heels too high, so those heels are the perfect height for me.

Knitted Strap Ankle Boot

The Fur Trim Ankle boots are chic and elegant.  The color of the boots can be matched with many of  my casual outfits.

Fur Trim Ankle Boots
These boots can be worn with skinny jeans, shorts, dress or skirts.

Both boots are so stylish that I can't decide which one I like better. The price are under $50 each pair. Great price to look chic for 2013.  You can buy the shoes at http://revuk.com
